Join to apply for the Market Manager – ILSCO/ERICO – Commercial USA Sales – Electrical Connections role ’re seeking a dynamic and strategic Market Manager for Commercial Sales USA to lead demand creation and product expertise for our sales organization within the Electrical Connections business. This role requires a proven track record of partnering across a dedicated USA sales team to achieve sales targets in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.
Up to 60% travel is required.
- Sales Strategy & Execution:
Partnering to develop and implement sales strategies, including tailored value propositions for contractors, end‑users, specifying engineers, and channel partners to drive revenue growth and expand market share across the US. - Leadership & Sales Enablement:
Leading product training programs for contractors, engineers, and distributors; educating and mentoring RSMs, agents, and channel sales teams on application and value‑based selling of ILSCO/ERICO products; leading a high‑performing inside sales team. - Revenue, Performance, and Demand Management:
Managing quotes, pricing, and critical metrics to ensure profitability; analyzing sales data to uncover trends and improvement areas; leading demand creation and revenue growth for key products; supporting distributor inventory planning and stocking strategies. - Customer and Field Engagement:
Providing expertise in the use of ILSCO/ERICO products and coordinating responses to end‑user, specifier, and, distribution partners, and industry collaborators; representing nVent at industry events. - Cross‑Functional
Collaboration:
Partnering with Marketing, Product Management, Finance, and Operations to align sales initiatives with broader nVent business objectives, including new product introductions, marketing programs, promotions, forecasting, and cross‑brand opportunities. - Sales Operations:
Using CRM (e.g., Salesforce) to lead the opportunity pipeline and communicate feedback internally. - Performance Analysis:
Monitoring sales data, analyzing trends, and identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Ideally 5+ years of technical product sales experience in electrical or industrial markets, with knowledge of electrical grounding and bonding.
- Experience working closely with product development and product management.
- Ability to work remotely from a home office and travel on average 60% of the time, with overnight trips; valid driver’s license required; only one hire will be made.
- Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong negotiation skills, using compromise, persuasion, influence, rationale, and diplomacy both internally and externally.
- High organizational and time‑management skills, with minimal supervision.
- Customer advocate role, collaborating across functions to guide products, processes, and strategies.
- Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline (preferred) or equivalent experience in technical sales.
- Experience in B2B industrial or electrical product sales.
- Familiarity with channel sales and distribution networks.
nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of total target cash pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Total target cash is comprised of an employee’s base salary and sales incentive target opportunity, when annual sales goals are achieved. Employee pay within this range is based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance.

If annual sales performance exceeds annual sales goals, the total target cash received may exceed the pay scale maximum reflected above.
Other forms of compensation may include annual incentives.
