APEX Wood Floors has an exciting opportunity for a Sales and Design Associate to join their growing team in the Mountain West Region! This is an exciting remote Sales and Design Associate opportunity in the Mountain West region. This full-time remote position offers flexibility and opportunities for growth. Ideal candidates must live in, or near, Bozeman, MT;
Park City, UT; or Jackson Hole, WY and be willing to travel within the Mountain West region for client and prospect visits and to our home location in Chicago, IL for quarterly on-site meetings.
Our ideal Sales and Design Associate is relationship-focused, driven and passionate about service. We offer a base salary range of $60,000 to $65,000 based on experience, plus opportunities for commission. We also offer a benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401k with company match, and paid time off, and the opportunity to work from home with some travel required.
Requirements- 5+ years in a service-based industry;
- 3+ years of experience in a sales or design role in a service-based industry;
- Experience with prospecting leads, relationship building, and a proven track record of sales and/or business development;
- Experience bidding on projects, preparing proposals, and presenting those to clients;
- A proactive, customer-centric mindset with a relationship focus;
- A self-starter who is able to work independently and as part of a team;
- Experience in the wood flooring or an adjacent service industry is a plus;
- CAD experience is preferred but not required.
- Prospecting, relationship building and business partner enhancements including but not limited to:
- Networking, including out of state events, lunch and learns, coffees, lunches and office visits;
- Keeping our CRM updated with activity, leads and client information;
- Bidding and putting proposals together for projects including CAD/project layouts and designs including new project site visits;
- Developing long-lasting customer relationships.
- Other duties as assigned.
