What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets within the assigned territory
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing customers to understand their needs and drive incremental revenue
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within customer organizations
  • Manage territory activities, including prospecting, lead generation, and sales forecasting
  • Stay informed about industry trends and gather customer feedback to inform sales strategies
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Minimum of two (2) years of proven successful sales experience in telephone sales, personal selling, and customer service
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of sales techniques and negotiation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office software and CRM technology
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Experience in the educational publishing industry
  • Familiarity with telecommuting software such as Zoom, Web Ex, or Microsoft Teams
  • Proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and customer relationship management
  • Ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a focus on collaboration
