Business Development Manager, Technical Sales

- Manage a remote sales team, setting, measuring, and tracking performance
- Set individual revenue targets and drive attainment throughout the area while ensuring profitable sales
- Maintain market awareness and stay in touch with trends and competitive forces
- Enforce standards, monitor pricing, execute objectives, and hold team accountable for performance
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and sales process
- Drive functional sales initiatives and campaigns in partnership with Marketing
- Use authority for sales personnel decisions in consultation with sector and VP of Sales
- Provide day‑to‑day leadership, coaching, development, and corrective action
- Execute plans to drive market penetration
- Ensure the sector attracts, develops, and retains high‑quality sales talent
- Compose monthly communication report
- 2–3 years of direct B2B sales management experience
- Knowledge of targeted territory and the Building Services & Construction, Manufacturing, & Utility sectors
- Excellent coaching, closing, and mentoring skills; strategist; analytical
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
