Industrial Automation solution sales role utilizing Advanced Location Technologies like RFID, BLE and UWB platforms in conjunction with Machine Vision and Fixed Industrial Scanning capabilities, in providing an end to end solution set. Owns the engagement for solution/product sales on assigned account(s); develops and executes sales strategy for assigned account(s) with Vertical AM input; uses advanced knowledge of products/solutions within the vertical market Domain.
Builds relationships with key customer contacts to leverage to Zebra’s advantage; creates and delivers high impact sales presentations and proof of concept engagements. Considered a Zebra-wide expert for advanced and complex products/solutions in the vertical markets and industry automation domain. Proactively establishes sales plans and supports Executive Briefings on Zebra solutions with minimal managerial input. This includes setting account penetration plans and objectives with Vertical AM.
Prepares and delivers industry domain specific presentations to customers, partners and Zebra trade organizations. Considered an industry wide expert for advanced and complex products/solutions in the markets responsible for. Works with product development to create next generation of solutions and services. Quotas are generally very high relative to other Sales Engagement Managers and Vertical AM’s.
Candidates must reside in the US, specifically within the central region with the expectation of ~50% travel.
Responsibilities- Knowledge/Expertise
- Technical Skills – Helps architect technical solutions related to RFID and RTLS platforms (HW, SW, Services); expert in some areas
- Knowledge of Zebra – Align sales campaigns focused on the Vertical Business/Industry with Zebra products/services strategy, often crossing multiple lines of businesses in a highly visible position within Zebra.
- Sales Skills – Leads cross functional teams in development of advanced solution selling campaigns and aligns with Zebra’s partners; must have proven sales success at an enterprise level.
- Managerial Skills – Full knowledge of all relevant business & vertical industry business practices & workflows; strong ability to energize and lead others in a cross functional team lead role.
- Business Acumen – Conducts ROI driven sales campaigns that enables improves long term profitability in a variety of situations; a S.W.O.T. expert; anticipates future customer needs and defines predictable Customer outcomes.
- Domain Knowledge – Applies both strategic and tactical understanding of vertical market domains and how the use of RFID and RTLS technologies alignes to markets/use cases to ensure Zebra wins in the marketplace
