Sales Assistant

Responsibilities

Hybrid working, flexible working hours and up to £30,000 p/a working for a fast‑growing industry leader based in Leeds. The Sales Assistant will support critical sales processes to ensure complete customer satisfaction. The role is based in Leeds; the successful candidate can commute from surrounding towns and cities including Bradford, Wakefield, Huddersfield, Halifax, Castleford and Pontefract.

• Process internal sales orders, ensuring the production plan is updated
• Issue customer order acknowledgements including estimated delivery dates as confirmed by other departments
• Chase enquiries with suppliers and prepare low level quotations
• Ensure accurate use of the CRM system by logging customer enquiries and updating relevant trackers
• Monitor the inbound sales mailbox
• Organise Factory Acceptance Tests with customers, including sending welcome packs and induction forms

For the Sales Assistant opportunity, we are keen to receive applications from individuals who possess:

• Previous experience working within a Sales function within a Manufacturing or Engineering environment
• Strong administrative skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a larger team
• A collaborative approach to work and a keen eye for detail

• Salary up to £30,000 p/a (depending on experience)
