You’ll be doing- The Strategic Account Manager (SAM) is the main point of contact, specializing in existing account penetration, introducing new upsell products/features and expansion for devices, assets and video. The SAM conducts product demonstrations, closes business to secure incremental revenue, builds strong customer relationships, maintains account health, satisfaction and retention. The SAM makes outbound calls, presents/negotiate pricing, builds business cases for contract rewrites and pricing negotiations, executes contracts, manages email campaigns with Marketing, and leverages sales tools across multiple platforms.
- Provide solutions and drive revenue through identifying and closing new opportunities for additional vehicles and/or asset trackers, emerging software solutions and products/features.
- Partner with other departments such as Solutions Desk, Implementation and Deployment to ensure customers are fully supported at all times.
- Communicate several times a day with the team on sales activity, metrics and performance.
- Account management with a diverse book of business across various industries.
- Prioritize activity and sales pipeline to achieve goals with emphasis on time management, productivity, accurate forecasting and funnel management.
- Follow-up on proposals and negotiate contracts with customers.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners from sale through implementation.
- Manage customer relationships/satisfaction and address open issues, problems and requests.
- Where you’ll be working in this hybrid role with a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.
- The hours for this role are 8-5.
- Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
- Three or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.
- Previous experience selling into SMB Accounts
- Consultative selling experience
- 3+ years of B2B inside sales experience
- 1+ years of product sales account management experience
- Account management experience

The salary will vary by location and experience. This is a commission-based position with potential to earn more. For part-time roles, compensation is adjusted to reflect hours.
