Sales Development Representative – Informa Tech Target

Location: 240 Blackfriars office, London.

Employment type: Full-time.

Seniority level: Entry level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research, source, and secure leads to build a robust pipeline for Account Directors.
  • Make outbound sales calls within an assigned territory to generate qualified leads and set sales appointments.
  • Leverage email and social media tools for inbound prospect development, engaging target prospects and presenting high‐level value propositions.
  • Participate actively in weekly meetings to recognize achievements, exchange insights, and collaborate with the team to overcome challenges.
  • Manage and update prospecting status and activities via CRM ().
  • Develop a deep understanding of how content marketing programs unlock value for Tech Target’s customers and identify innovative approaches.
  • Work closely with Account Executives to align on opportunities and drive revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of sales processes and strategies.
Qualifications
  • A self‑starter who embraces a growth mindset and proactively takes initiative.
  • Strong ability to generate leads, build relationships, and set meetings through proactive outreach.
  • Comfortable making outbound sales calls and skilled at engaging prospects via email and Linked In.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools ( or similar) and sales prospecting software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex solutions clearly.
  • Ability to meet and exceed monthly pipeline goals while maintaining accountability and teamwork.
  • A passion for learning and developing expertise in content marketing and sales strategies.
  • Self‑driven, motivated, and results‑oriented with a track record of achieving sales targets.
