Key Responsibilities of an Account Manager- Sales and Revenue Growth: Achieve and exceed sales targets by effectively selling the company’s products or services directly to a predefined list of small to medium size partners. Understand those partners' business needs and how our offerings can meet those needs to maximize sales opportunities.
- Partner Relationship Management: Act as the main point of contact and advocate for your partners within our organization. Understand the partners' future needs to ensure a seamless experience with our company.
- Account Development: Look for creative ways to communicate to a large number of partners, share information, and upsell within the account base.
- Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with marketing, vendor sales, sales operations and finance to ensure that partner needs are met and that they are kept informed of new products or services that could benefit their business.
- Market and Product Knowledge: Maintain a thorough knowledge of the market, the solutions/services the company can provide, and the company's competitors. This includes staying updated on industry trends and how they affect partners.
- Feedback Loop: Act as a liaison between partners and internal teams. Gather feedback on product/service satisfaction, potential improvements, or the need for new products. Relay this feedback to relevant internal stakeholders to help shape future offerings.
- Metrics: This role will be compensated based on quota achievement against margin targets. The average products sold per partner will be tracked as a key indicator of success.
- Proven experience in sales or account management, with an emphasis on developing relationships with existing partners.
- Strong interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building relationships with professionals at all organizational levels.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on market trends and partner needs.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
- Must be legally able to work in Canada.
- Remote work, but requires business travel.
- Exempt, Base Salary plus Commission (90K to 140K CAD)
