- Flexible working hours of 7.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week).

- We are searching for a permanent Account Executive, Group Business to join our Group Business team.
- PBC's compensation offerings are grounded in a pay‑for‑performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range is $73,600 – $101,200 per year; base pay is based on market and may vary. Variable pay ranges between $15,000 and $95,000 per year with an expected variable pay around $50,000. An additional annual bonus would be targeted at up to $10,000.
An auto allowance of $800 per month would be available. - In this role, you will oversee group clients, build relationships, promote new products and services, and manage renewals for your block of business.
This role is currently working from home 4 days a week and 1 day a week at our head office in Burnaby, BC. Apply this week if you would like to take on this role.
Key Ways This Position Makes An Impact- Service existing clients by building relationships and learning about their benefit needs.
- Understand and promote new products and services to the client block.
- Manage renewal terms for the book of clients to ensure financial viability.
- Explain complex financial and business issues to support and explain the renewal process.
- Network with the Group Benefit community to promote our brand and build relationships with clients and plan advisors.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to Account Manager, Group Business team members to help them better understand their clients, advisors, and block of business.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related discipline, including specialized training and courses in sales and marketing.
- Life, and Accident & Sickness Licensed in British Columbia, or equivalent.
- In-depth knowledge of group insurance products and underwriting methods.
- 6 years of sales experience, including 4 years in group benefits/insurance.
- Effective presentation and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office software, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Work involves frequent travel within the Lower Mainland and periodic travel outside the Lower Mainland.
- Candidates must obtain and maintain the appropriate insurance license(s) for selling Group Business products. This typically includes Life and Accident & Sickness License (LLQP) with the Insurance Council.
- Candidates must obtain the required insurance license(s) within 3 months of starting the role.
- If the candidate already holds the necessary licensure, they must provide proof of valid licensing prior to starting the role.
