- Drive sales with new customers and grow existing revenues in public records and investigative content within state government markets
- Manage complex, long-cycle enterprise deals, navigating the state procurement processes and RFX processes
- Build and maintain relationships with technical and non-technical government officials and systems integrators
- Achieve consistent quota attainment and effectively manage a healthy sales pipeline
- Translate complex technical concepts for non-technical officials, demonstrating a strong understanding of state IT infrastructure
- Minimum of 4-5 years of direct field sales experience, preferably in government markets
- Proven track record of sales quota over achievement
- 4-year college degree or equivalent experience
- Ability to work from a home office and travel to customer locations 70% of the time, with up to 40% overnight travel
- Reside within the designated sales territory
- Experience with state procurement processes and government contracting requirements
- Familiarity with state priorities, funding mechanisms, and relevant regulations such as CJIS, HIPAA, and FedRAMP
- Previous involvement in strategic networking within government associations and conferences
- Strong understanding of technical capabilities related to CLEAR's offerings
