Senior Sales Executive, Core Growth – MLF (Florida/Atlanta)
The Senior Sales Executive is responsible for renewing and selling Westlaw, Practical Law, CoCounsel, and a suite of innovative solutions, including generative AI products, to mid‑sized law firms within an assigned territory. The role requires an expert consultative sales approach, a professional demeanor, and an in‑depth understanding of Westlaw’s evolving product portfolio to bundle comprehensive information and technology solutions for broad firm needs.
AboutThe Role
- Identify the best channel for engagement with customers, predominantly virtual when value does not require travel, and support territory growth strategy development.
- Prospect new customers, validate their needs, shape product plans, and drive deals to close.
- Focus on new logo acquisition, mid‑contract upsell/cross‑sell opportunities, and renewals.
- Possess core knowledge across products within the sub‑segment and engage Sales Specialists where deep product expertise is required to close deals.
- Utilize an automated, insight‑driven Salesforce workflow to progress deals; key performance indicators include new logo sales and incremental sales to non‑named accounts.
- Gather client and market intelligence on specific customer archetypes and needs prevalent within the sub‑segment and territory.
- Minimum 5 years of successful consultative selling experience to C‑level players.
- 4‑year college degree or equivalent experience.
- Working knowledge of sales concepts, methods, and techniques.
- Ambitious self‑starter with high energy and motivation.
- Excellent communication and closing skills.
- Effective time management skills.
- Ability to work from home office and travel to customer locations.
- Proficiency in MS Office products.
- Working knowledge of West products and experience selling into large law accounts.
- Strong understanding of legal profession and/or legal publishing industry.
- High competency with internet, periodical, and internal prospecting.
- Proficient database management skills.

The target total cash compensation range for this role is $178,500 USD – $331,500 USD.
