ERS Electrical Services Major Account Manager Data Centers - Remote
Electrical Reliability Services, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Major Account Manager to focus on data center construction and maintenance support for named end‑user accounts. The role requires the ability to navigate all organizational levels, develop key relationships, and close all business opportunities within assigned accounts and markets.
Responsibilities- Develop and manage strategic account/market plans to drive sales growth at each major account.
- Build and grow service revenue through profitable sale of all ERS acceptance testing services to targeted major accounts.
- Form successful working relationships with Service Center Managers, Sales Engineers, Major Account Customer Success Managers, and other Vertiv Service Entities.
- Meet or exceed sales quotas while supporting management’s strategic objectives.
- Develop and present proposals while maintaining and updating account proposal activity through ERS quote management system to reflect 100% of outstanding potential.
- Maintain accurate sales records and forecasting reports to provide accurate sales reporting.
- Cold call and strictly follow up on proposals to close contracts effectively and efficiently.
- Communicate with field and corporate associates regarding contract issues.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes and ensure they are communicated and implemented within the team.

- BS/BA in Business Management, Business Administration, Sales/Marketing, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- 7 to 10 years of direct business‑to‑business sales experience in a technical field, with 2 to 3 years managing major account relationships for large, national, multisite clients.
- Thorough knowledge of electrical distribution systems.
- Ability to read electrical one‑line drawings.
- Experience with data center construction, project management strategies, and execution.
- Experience selling services.
- Strong organizational and multi‑priority management skills.
- Excellent problem‑solving and contract resolution abilities.
- High level of communication, organization, and management skills.
- Proficiency in delivering presentations to senior management.
- Understanding of Fortune 500 purchasing and decision‑making processes.
- Ability to work collaboratively at all levels within the organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Valid driver’s license.
- 50% travel required.
