What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets within the assigned territory
- Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with prospective customers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to drive incremental revenue
- Manage territory activities including prospecting, lead generation, and sales forecasting
- Gather and analyze market intelligence to inform sales strategies and product development
- Minimum of two (2) years of successful sales experience in telephone sales, personal selling, or customer service
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field
- Strong understanding of sales techniques, negotiation skills, and closing strategies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation abilities
- Proficiency with MS Office software and CRM technology
- Experience in the education or publishing industry
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with peers and customers
- Familiarity with telecommuting software such as Zoom, Web Ex, Microsoft Teams, or Google Meet
