- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet revenue targets and maximize sales opportunities
- Identify and cultivate relationships with prospective customers to drive sales growth
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, understanding their needs and preferences
- Manage territory activities including lead generation, sales forecasting, and customer interactions
- Stay informed about industry trends and gather customer feedback to inform sales strategies
- Minimum of two (2) years of proven successful sales experience in telephone sales, personal selling, and customer service
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field
- Strong understanding of sales techniques, negotiation skills, and closing strategies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build customer relationships
- Proficiency with MS Office software and CRM technology
- Previous experience in the education or publishing industry
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally within an organization
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment
