- First + foremost:
Someone who is not just okay with cold-calling and other proactive outbound activity, but enjoys it and is excited to create what that looks like at Hook Agency - Someone eager to build a career in sales, starting as a Business Development Representative and growing into a full Sales Rep/Closer within about a year
- Thick skin, grit, and the ability to stay steady through high-volume outreach + rejection
- A confident communicator who is comfortable making a lot of outbound calls, sourcing prospects, and booking meetings
- 0 - 1 year experience in any of the following, or similar roles or environments: BDR/SDR, call center, debt collection
- Possesses clear, confident verbal communication and strong writing skills
- Is highly organized and can maintain a clean, trackable process across CRM + outreach tools
- Competitive, self-motivated, and eager to help fill a high-performing sales pipeline

What you’ll be doing:
- Book qualified calls for our Sales team and create consistent pipeline opportunities
- Perform proactive, high-volume outbound activity (cold calls, emails, Linked In outreach)
- Cold calling - confidently and at scale
- Collaborate with marketing to align social content + outbound messaging and execute regular social posting
- Source, research, and build prospect lists based on our Ideal Customer Profiles
- Manage CRM data cleanliness + follow-up sequences
- Own in-office lead generation events aimed at generating new business
- Use a proactive, outbound-first mindset to find potential customers who don’t know Hook yet and support filling the top of the sales pipeline
- Participate in daily check-ins with the sales team to report on numbers, outreach activity, and booking metrics
- Light travel possible for industry events and functions or team initiatives
[Add Description] The salary range for this role is $40,000 - 45,000 annually plus commission and will depend on experience. We are in the office 3 days a week and work from home on Wednesdays + Fridays, however new hires are required to work in-office 5 days a week for their first month while they integrate into the team. We have a 30-day probationary period in place with all roles.
The ideal candidate will thrive on cultivating relationships with prospective clients in order to catalyze business development success. This individual will schedule meetings with clients in order to understand their needs and will work closely with sales and marketing teams to uncover new, quality leads.
