SENIOR SALES DIRECTOR - CHARTWELLS K-12 (REMOTE)
Compass Group is in search of a Senior Sales Director for Chartwells K-12 covering the Eastern and Western United States. This position focuses on developing trusted relationships within the nation’s largest school districts and building strategic partnerships to serve major child nutrition programs. The Senior Sales Director will report to the Regional Vice President of Sales and is responsible for ensuring profitable market growth of new Chartwells K-12 school accounts as an individual contributor.
The role is based near a major metropolitan airport in the Eastern or Western United States and requires extensive overnight travel (up to 75%).
Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 base + commissions. There is potential to earn well over $250K as targets are met and exceeded.

Responsibilities- Cultivates and develops new business opportunities via cold calling and prospecting
- Develops multi-level client contacts and relationships in the K-12 schools markets, contacting Business Managers, Superintendents, and School Boards
- Leads the sales process including survey organization and execution, presentations, proposal development and delivery, and closing and contract negotiations
- Is accountable for market new business growth
- Three to five years of previous sales experience (minimum)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- High energy, positive attitude, and excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities
- Strong time and territory management skills
- Computer literate/proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, CRM, and related tools
- High degree of personal accountability, discipline, resilience, and integrity
- Ability to travel up to 75% of the time
- Sales experience in the K-12 Schools market sector is preferred
