Position: Territory Sales Manager, NGS Clinical Solutions  - Texas Remote

Overview

Territory Sales Manager, NGS Clinical Solutions - Texas Remote. This position is part of the NGS Solutions Sales Team, based in Texas and fully remote. The role supports IDT (Integrated DNA Technologies), a Danaher company, with a focus on life sciences, diagnostics and biotechnology. The organization emphasizes collaboration, continuous learning, and delivering impactful genomics solutions to researchers around the world.

In this role, you will contribute to accelerating genomics progress by developing territory plans, engaging customers, and partnering with internal teams to turn ideas into tangible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Researches and understands territory dynamics, focusing on prospecting and growth opportunities to develop an effective business plan and sales strategy, understand the competitive landscape, and evaluate competitors’ products to effectively position IDT solutions for a successful sale
  • Develop and manage assigned accounts to deliver solutions and drive revenue growth, and develop and manage strategic partnerships with key customers and leverage internal resources to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Maintain regular communications with customers and prospects, schedule sales calls and travel itineraries, address customer needs, and execute sales strategies through timely follow up with detailed notes in current CRM tools; educate and provide customers with current product sales information through technical presentations
  • Build in-depth knowledge of CRM and funnel management tools and apply these skills to forecast business, manage opportunities, build pipeline, and make business decisions; maintain records and communications with the customer base in current CRM tools
  • Maintain regular and informative communications with team members including cross-functional collaboration with Product Managers, Application Scientists, Inside Sales, and others
Essential Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant Life Science field (biology, biochemistry, chemistry, etc.) or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in molecular and/or laboratory pathology sales and/or field-based customer support, preferably in molecular biology reagents, laboratory consumables, or capital equipment
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets or key performance indicators
  • Reside in Texas;
    Houston preferred (Dallas or Austin will be considered)
  • Familiarity with existing academic, NCCN, corporate, and government accounts in the region
Compensation and Benefits

The base salary range for this role is $140,000-$165,000. This range is provided in good faith as the range of possible compensation at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. This job is eligible for bonus/incentive pay. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k) for eligible employees.
