Distributor Sales Manager Central Europe JOB PURPOSE

The Distributor Sales Manager Central Europe reporting to the Regional Senior Manager, Sales South and Eastern Europe of Topcon is responsible for leading our distribution sales efforts in Central and Eastern European countries including but not exclusive in Poland, Czech Republic, Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Greece. The Distributor Sales Manager will be responsible for managing relationships with our distribution partners, developing and implementing sales strategies, driving revenue growth, and ensuring our products are effectively distributed in the market.

They will also be responsible for actively seeking new distribution partners in line with Topcon’s growth strategy.

CORE JOB DUTIES
  • Develop and execute sales strategies and plans to drive revenue growth through distribution partners in the assigned region.
  • Manage relationships with distribution partners, including regular communication, training, and support to ensure their success in promoting and selling our products.
  • Identify and pursue new distribution opportunities and partnerships to expand our market reach and increase sales.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges and develop solutions to drive sales growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure effective product distribution and customer support.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activities, and customer feedback to develop strategies to stay ahead of the competition and optimize distribution efforts.
  • Provide regular reporting to the CSU Management team on sales performance, market trends, and key metrics related to distribution sales.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Manage sales budgets and resources efficiently to optimize distribution sales performance.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in distribution sales, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Ideally having experience within the construction industry and an understanding of positioning solutions and machine control.
Knowledge, Skills & Attributes
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets through distribution channels.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with distribution partners and customers.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop relationships with distribution partners.
  • Ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to drive sales strategies and plans.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work in a team environment that promotes collaboration.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software.
  • Ability to travel within the assigned countries as needed – at least 60% of working activity.
  • Fluent English (both verbally and in written form) is required for the role.
