Position: Aquatic Informatics - B2B Field Sales, Water Industry (Ohio Valley)

About the role

The B2B Field Sales position is the primary front‑line sales representative for Aquatic Informatics (AQI). You will build and foster relationships with prospective new customers and help them solve their toughest water monitoring challenges.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, while sharing customer insights with product teams to drive innovation.
  • Develop meaningful customer relationships focused on driving value to our customers and measured by new customer acquisition, revenue growth, and product engagement.
  • Execute a territory plan with 50% travel in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, and Ontario (Canada), and partner with other Veralto sellers (Hach, OTT Hydromet).
  • Manage your territory independently from a home office, demonstrating entrepreneurial spirit and excellent time‑management skills.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in water industry or adjacent sales with consistent quota exceedance.
  • Demonstrated success in a quota‑carrying B2B field sales role.
  • Self‑starter with strong customer relationship skills and the ability to work cross‑functionally.
  • Excellent written, oral, organizational, and time‑management skills.
  • Ability to learn new software applications quickly.
  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% of the time.
Preferred
  • Familiarity with the environmental or water industry.
  • Consultative, solutions‑based sales experience.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM.

Compensation

The base salary range for this role is $80,000 – $100,000 USD per year, with incentive pay potential. Additional benefits include paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k) eligibility.
