Job Description

Jitterbit Account Executives are the CEO of their assigned scope of business, responsible for maximizing opportunity within their assigned territory. The primary responsibility is to generate new and expansion product‑license revenue against an assigned quota, as well as professional services revenue across all verticals in their geography.

The AE accomplishes this by working closely with multiple internal stakeholders—including Sales Development Representatives, Marketing, Partners, and Client Success Managers—to drive inbound, outbound, partner‑generated, and customer expansion opportunities. Demonstrated success at generating opportunities via outbound efforts is expected.

The AE must have expertise in technology infrastructure and workflow automation solutions to advise customers on the best possible portfolio of Jitterbit and partner solutions that meet their needs. By discussing technology strategy at the CIO level while simultaneously getting technical with back‑end infrastructure managers, the AE will solve the most pressing automation needs of their customers.

Key Attributes for Success
  • Understand how to grow and manage an assigned scope of business/territory and drive towards and exceed an assigned quota.
  • Manage a complex sales cycle from inception to close—moving seamlessly from CIO/CTO level discussions down to lower levels of the organization.
  • Research and understand the business and competitive situation of client prospects through tools such as Zoom Info, to best position Jitterbit products and solutions aligned with their technology priorities.
  • Manage and develop critical internal relationships—Sales Development, Marketing, Channels—as well as external relationships with SI’s and ISV’s.
  • Build consistent and sustainable pipeline and consistently achieve quota.
  • Pride in preparation, attention to detail, and forecast accuracy.
  • Execute via a prescribed sales process.
  • Experience with a modern sales “tech stack,” including , Sales Loft, and ABM solutions or techniques.
  • Proven track record of success in a team environment, coordinating sales resources while working cross‑functionally within Jitterbit and actively involving leadership in strategic/larger opportunities.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years in B2B technology sales with significant experience in complex, executive sales and a record of over‑achievement against quotas.
  • Experience or domain expertise in selling integration and/or workflow automation technology, ideally within the iPaaS market space.
  • Think and operate strategically and tactically without daily direction from a Sales Director.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Thrives in a remote work environment (requires proximity to a major airport for occasional in‑person meetings).
  • Competitive, capable of exiting a losing situation.
  • Team player who can coach and play, ensuring the right resources and optimal plays to win.
  • Natural inquisitiveness, capable of understanding and solving complex business problems across varied use cases.
  • 4‑year college degree.
