Overview
DSI is a sales enablement company with an immediate career opportunity for a motivated Account Sales Manager (ASM) for our growing Exclusive Distribution Model (EDM) team. This key role is responsible for driving sales results of the client's products in the assigned territory. This role requires 50-75% travel.
As the ASM, you will serve as the link between training and sales, and you will work closely with our partners and management on behalf of our client. You will be responsible for formal classroom-style training, side-by-side selling, informal group training, and generating excitement for selling and the overall opportunity. Additionally, you will evaluate opportunities and challenges and provide creative solutions.
Your success will be measured by positive sales numbers, relationship building, timely reporting, and overall contribution to this program.

Responsibilities- Work directly with partner representatives, owners, and senior management to drive and increase sales of the clients products and services
- Deliver direct training, observation, side-by-side selling, and customer interactions to demonstrate and educate employees about sales techniques and the client’s promotions
- Educate management on how to sell the client’s products and services through both informal (side-by-side) and formal (classroom) training
- Use initiative to create and implement motivational contests, goals, challenges, and incentives to improve sales
- Provide analysis of visits and sales, make suggestions, and present methods to increase sales
- Visit offices regularly to support reps and help increase sales and headcount
- Provide outstanding service to reps, owners, and customers with in-depth product knowledge
- Maintain partner and client presentation standards and follow up with all stakeholders
- Build strong relationships with partners in the territory through integrity, sales, and business expertise
- Become the EDM business subject matter expert, including technology, plans, promotions, sales techniques, and escalation processes
- Demonstrate and transfer knowledge through all partner contacts
- Document opportunities, share best practices, and communicate challenges and recommendations to management
- Identify challenges and provide detailed reports within 24 hours of field activities
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly goals as directed by management
- Previous experience in outside sales and leadership, with prior experience as an Account Sales Manager in a quota-driven environment
- Experience in roles such as Direct Manager, Manager, Sales Manager, Area Manager, District Manager, Regional Manager, or related positions
- Comfort with 1:1 and classroom-style training
- Motivated to develop and coach others; strong leadership and communication skills
- Strong work ethic, high energy, and passion for technology
- Ability to thrive in entrepreneurial, unstructured environments
- Analytical, presentation, and effective communication skills
- Flexibility to work odd hours to participate in evening, weekend, and holiday events
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Experience meeting quotas and understanding basic retail business practices is a plus
- Working knowledge of the wireless industry and technology is a plus
- Work in the field 4-5 days per week, including weekends
- Travel up to 3 weeks per month
- From home office, one week per month
- Flexible to accommodate client and partner needs; some calls may occur at night and on weekends
- 50-75% travel
- Car and airplane travel required
- Uncapped earning potential; earn up to 80K annually plus potential bonuses
