Overview

Unique Vacations, Inc. — an affiliate of the worldwide representative for Sandals Resorts and Beaches Resorts — is seeking a forward-thinking Regional Social Group Sales Manager to support its Groups Department. This is a remote-based position. The company provides exclusive marketing, public relations, advertising, promotions, and creative services to showcase the Luxury Included experience for Sandals and Beaches Resorts.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new group business opportunities, cultivate leads, build relationships, and provide exceptional service to new accounts.
  • Conduct site inspections and educate and entertain qualified potential clients.
  • Plan and participate in sales trips to the assigned territory and attend trade shows to promote Sandals and Beaches Resorts.
  • Travel extensively, work evenings and weekends as required, and maintain a professional attitude and strong time management.
  • Partner with Regional Directors, BDMs, CRC, and PSA travel agents to promote niche market groups and coordinate travel advisory events and shows.
  • Execute effective communication and interpersonal skills throughout duties.
  • Work efficiently from a remote position and utilize computer systems (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Attend workshops/conventions/dinners and the annual worldwide sales meeting; may be required to work weekend shows with potential compensation adjustments.
  • Perform other tasks as required by management.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a Sales & Marketing role within a 5-star hotel or hotel group;
    Caribbean and/or resort experience preferred.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills; excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Ability to identify key decision makers, build relationships, and present effectively in writing and verbally.
  • Keen attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure; self-confident, proactive, and able to prioritize and make decisions.
  • Experience with computer systems including Microsoft Word, Excel, Delphi, Outlook, and PowerPoint; exceptional organizational skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively domestically and internationally.
Experience & Education
  • Education:

    Bachelor of Science in Business Administration or equivalent;
    Masters’ degree preferred.
  • Experience:

    5+ years of administrative management or leadership experience.
