Part-Time Visual Merchandiser

As a Visual Merchandiser, you are responsible for interpreting and implementing corporate visual concepts and strategies to promote Hudson’s products and maintain the overall design aspects of the showroom.

• Organizes the flow of furniture and placement of accessory products to the sales floor.
• Responsible for creating and maintaining a visually pleasing atmosphere.
• Regularly communicates the product needs of the showroom with the Home Office.
• Maintains a detailed online floor plan to match actual placement of product.
• Create and maintain pricing cards and correct inventory issues on all products.
• Provide assistance in physical inventories of all products in the assigned showroom.
• Responsible for receiving, unpacking, and assembly of new accessory items.
• Monitors and reports on the condition of product to ensure the merchandise looks fresh and at its best at all times.
• Physical participation in weekly showroom movements and annual entrance conversions.

• Ability to handle the design elements and influx of new merchandise on a weekly basis.
• Ability to prioritize multiple deadline driven tasks.
• Ability to effectively supervise helpers.
• Work independently.
• Minimum 3 year requirement of similar or design background.

• 24-30 hours per week
