• Assist with container movements, coordinating with warehouses & freight forwarders
• Check & process logistics invoices: distribution, freight & customs invoices
• Making enquiries where there are discrepancies and following up to ensure those queries are resolved
• Assisting with accruals and prepayments at period end
• Inbound freight rate, customs and lane analysis to assist with inbound planning
• Outbound distribution analysis and planning

• No previous experience in supply chain required, although any exposure to logistics, freight or customs would be a bonus
• Ability to work on own initiative to prioritise own workload
• A high level of accuracy
• Comfortable working without supervision
• Excellent organisational & problem-solving skills
• Computer literate with a good knowledge of Microsoft, especially Excel
• Pro-active, identifying issues as or before they arise
• Ability to work under pressure, meet targets and deadlines
• An open-minded approach to the role and a flexible, can do, friendly attitude. Our business is constantly changing!
