• Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk / In-Store Grocery Shopper: select and gather products for customers’ on-line orders in the most efficient manner with attention to freshness and quality.
• In-Store Grocery Shopper: initiate and complete the selection process for customers’ on-line orders.
• Assemble on-line orders, process coupons and payment, and deliver and load orders to cars when customers arrive for pick up.
• Scan and bag orders on the go, following bagging standards.
• Communicate substitutions or exceptions to customers’ orders at pick-up.
• Meet/exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines.
• Receive orders from Order Selector, store products in optimal temperature zones, and ensure order accuracy at retrieval.
• Follow directions in note sections and respond professionally to customer calls.
• Provide a positive customer service experience to encourage online shopping.
• Process orders through the POS system; determine substitutions for out-of-stock items.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment.
• Report pricing, scanning, and item location discrepancies to the e-Commerce supervisor; notify management of items in need of repair.
• Perform opening and closing procedures; assist in training new e-Commerce team members.
• Meet/exceed productivity standards; work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment; manage conflict professionally.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

• Ability to work without supervision
• Ability to read shelf tags
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction)
• Excellent oral/written communication skills

Experience:

• Experience as a personal shopper or in a production/warehouse environment, stocking shelves, or as a cashier
