Retail Territory Manager – Richmond, VA

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. invites applications for the Retail Territory Manager position located in Richmond, VA. The role is a remote position within the Retail Sales team, managing Home Depot and Lowe’s accounts.

As a Retail Territory Manager, you will:

• Drive top line sales to meet quarterly and annual POS goals.
• Partner with Store and District Managers to align strategies with their retail goals.
• Analyze POS by store and promotional performance to develop individualized sales plans.
• Collaborate with Sales Operations for inventory and promotional needs.
• Use Power BI and Salesforce data to execute strategy and drive efficiency.
• Sell & activate national events and local territory activations.
• Implement overdrive strategies to promote sell‑through and identify opportunities.
• Engage key decision makers on initiatives and customized solutions.
• Partner with retail service partners, hold monthly district meetings and quality walks.
• Leverage sales enablement tools to close sales gaps and create sales plans.
• Manage inventory, order writing, and exit strategies for promotions.
• Maintain relationships with professional end‑users through product training, seeding, and job site visits.
• Execute job site visits aligned with retailers’ pro strategies.
• Manage budgets (T&E, Demo Tool, etc.) to drive profitability.

The ideal candidate brings:

• 3‑5 years of retail sales experience in consumer goods.
• Willingness to travel regionally and work occasional weekends (8‑10 per year).
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and stand for several hours.
• Strong analytical skills with Power BI & Salesforce to develop growth plans.
• Knowledge of IT business systems (BW, , Tool Commerce) and Microsoft Office.
• Must pass drug test & MVR.
