The Accounting Analyst is responsible for performing regular updates to the People Soft Asset Management System, including reconciliation and monthly closing of the system.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting (preferred) and/or appropriate combination of education and experience is required.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office products
• Excellent customer service skills, including email and phone skills
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
• Strong attention to detail and time‑sensitive deadlines
• Ability to organize and prioritize work
• Maintains confidentiality and diverse work environment
• Enthusiastic team player; positive approach to work and the University

• Perform monthly closing and reconciliation of asset management system to the general ledger.
• Identify potential equipment assets from expenditure records.
• Coordinate the annual inventory of major equipment assets.
• Provide regular reports from the asset management system.
