AboutThe Role & Team
Amplitude is looking for a Senior Revenue Accountant to join our growing Finance team and help keep our revenue engine clean, compliant, and scalable. This role sits at the intersection of accounting rigor and business partnership, working closely with Sales, Deal Desk, Legal, and FP&A. You’ll play a key role in revenue recognition under ASC 606 while supporting close, audits, and process improvements as we scale.
This role reports to the Senior Manager of Revenue.
- 3–5+ years of accounting experience, ideally with a mix of public accounting and SaaS or public company experience.
- Strong working knowledge of ASC 606 and hands‑on experience with subscription‑based revenue models.
- Comfortable working in systems like Net Suite and Salesforce, and able to handle complex contracts.
- Detail‑oriented but pragmatic, with the judgment to balance technical accuracy and business reality.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate well with non‑finance partners in a fast‑moving environment.
