Store Loss Prevention & Safety Specialist – daily tasks maintain store loss prevention and safety programs. Build positive relationships with Store Management, conduct apprehensions within established policies, communicate with store Associates about damage and shrink initiatives, and identify and resolve internal and external theft.

• Adhere to established shoplifter guidelines and policies.
• Provide timely, courteous, and knowledgeable service to customers.
• Promote a culture of honesty and integrity; maintain confidentiality.
• Observe, apprehend, and/or deter acts of dishonesty from outside sources.
• Participate in investigations and surveillance as assigned.
• Ensure apprehensions are consistent with store theft activity.
• Complete and distribute paperwork accurately and timely.
• Maintain evidence, demonstrate understanding of law enforcement procedures, and participate in legal activities as needed (e.g., police calls).
• Coordinate and complete shrink activities in partnership with Store Management.
• Adhere to all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
• Encourage Associate use of shrink-reduction resources.
• Promote safety awareness and support maintenance of a safe environment.
