What's the role about?
Account Director
Permanent, Full Time
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum + company bonus
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (with some flexibility available)
Location: Leeds (Hybrid) 2 days office, 3 days working remote/client travel

We are looking for a high-energy Account Director who can bridge the gap between big-picture strategy and flawless execution.
You are the face of GIG Retail. You’ll be a trusted advisor to major brands, a growth engine for our commercial teams, and a strategic lead on game-changing retail media campaigns.
This role is for you if:
- You thrive on building deep relationships and turning brand partners into long-term advocates.
- You are a commercial hunter who can spot an opportunity for incremental spend and turn it into a reality.
- You love the retail fast-lane, navigating complex workflows to ensure every campaign lands perfectly, every time.
- You are a confident storyteller who can stand up in a Q or commercial meeting and lead the room.
- Retail & Marketing Background:
You have solid experience in retail marketing/media or retail integration. You understand how the industry operates and how brands fit into the retail ecosystem. - Commercial Management:
You are comfortable managing budgets and have a proven track record of meeting commercial targets and driving media sales. - Stakeholder Management:
You excel at building long-term, professional relationships with both brand suppliers and internal retail teams. - Communication & Presentation:
You are a confident communicator who can clearly articulate strategy in commercial meetings, Joint Business Plans (JBPs), and reviews. - Operational Problem-Solving:
You take a proactive approach to challenges and are detail-oriented enough to manage complex workflows, such as product nominations and store-level executions.
- Exceptional Partnerships:
Maintaining an 80%+ client satisfaction rating. - High-Speed Execution:
Delivering on requests and project milestones with 24-hour responsiveness. - Driving Growth:
Hitting collective sales targets and expanding our media footprint.
