Purchasing Specialist - Fencing, Tack, Toys & Gifts

Murdoch's Ranch & Home Supply is seeking a Purchasing Specialist responsible for basic replenishment, re‑buying, and managing store merchandise. This position utilizes prior experience and judgment as a basis for planning and accomplishing goals in a variety of tasks. The Purchasing Specialist works under the general supervision of a Buyer.

Work Location: This position will be based out of the Home Office in Bozeman, Montana where we offer a flexible hybrid/remote work environment.

As a Murdoch's Team Member, you will:

• Assist the Buyers in all areas of merchandise procurement.
• Enter and transmit Purchase Orders into the system.
• Monitor Purchase Orders to ensure timely and satisfactory delivery.
• Contact suppliers to expedite delivery when necessary.
• Resolve any receiving or invoice discrepancies that may arise.
• Build relationships and maintain contact with stores and vendors.
• Other related responsibilities as needed.

• 4‑year degree in Business, Accounting, or equivalent is preferred.
