Part Time Merchandiser

Our Garden Group, providing sales support and logistics for proprietary and recognized consumer brands, is searching for a part‑time Merchandiser in the Tampa, FL area. The role includes stocking and arranging product displays—grass seed, chemicals, and clay pottery—in home improvement centers such as Lowe’s, Home Depot, and Walmart.

• Maintain down‑stocking and set integrity for Central Garden products (grass seed, chemicals, bird feed, fertilizer, clay pottery).
• Set and maintain shelves according to retailer‑mandated planograms/modulars.
• Install and maintain off‑shelf display opportunities for Central Garden products.
• Engage consumers during peak‑season weekends (training provided).

• Previous merchandising experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills needed to interact with store management and consumers.
• Strong reading skills required to understand packaging labels and re‑tagging projects.
• Must be able to bend, pull, and lift 50 lbs. consistently throughout the workday.
• Must be able to climb ladders, use a pallet jack, and hand‑powered tools.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with good driving record, reliable transportation, and proof of current personal car insurance listing the applicant as an insured driver.
• Must have daily internet/email access.
• Must own a smartphone with Android 13.0+ or iOS 15.0+ for daily communication with supervisor.
• Responsible, reliable, and dependable work habits.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safety.

• Retail store environment—garden center and throughout store.
• Work week:
  Monday‑Friday, with some weekends (primarily Saturdays).
• Daily travel within the territory required (personal car).
• Environment also includes occasional remote work.

• Pay range: $16.00–$18.00 per hour, based on experience.
