Select and gather products for customers' online orders in the most efficient manner with attention to freshness and quality. Assemble customers' online orders, process coupons and payment, and deliver and load orders to cars when customers arrive at the store for pickup. Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk, working as an In-Store Grocery Shopper, is responsible for selecting and gathering products for customers' online orders efficiently, ensuring freshness and quality.

Initiate and complete the selection process for customers' online orders.

Assemble orders, process coupons and payments, and deliver and load orders into customers' cars upon arrival for pickup.

Scan and bag orders promptly while adhering to bagging standards.

Communicate any substitutions or exceptions to customers at the time of pickup.

Meet or exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.

Adhere to all applicable laws, food safety procedures, and company policies.

Receive orders from the Order Selector, store items at appropriate temperatures, and ensure order accuracy.

Follow directions in notes and ensure quality and freshness of all items.

Communicate with customers via portable phones professionally and promptly.

Load orders into customers' cars, ensuring correctness and completeness.

Provide excellent customer service to encourage repeat business.

Process orders through the POS system and handle substitutions appropriately.

Maintain organization and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment.

Report discrepancies and equipment issues to management.

Perform opening and closing procedures as required.

Assist in training new team members.

Meet or exceed productivity standards and work effectively in a high-paced environment.

Manage conflicts professionally and act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.

Support interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.

Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.

Qualifications

Minimum Position Qualifications:

Ability to work independently without supervision.
Ability to read shelf tags.
Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction).

Desired Previous

Experience:

Experience as a personal shopper, in warehouse or production environments, stocking, or cashier roles.
