Job Description:

Select and gather products for customers' online orders in the most efficient manner with attention to freshness and quality. Assemble customers' online orders, process coupons and payment, and deliver and load orders to cars when customers arrive at the store for pick up. Provide a positive customer service experience that makes customers want to return to online shopping. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

• Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk / In-Store Grocery Shopper is responsible for selecting and gathering products for customers' online orders in the most efficient manner with attention to freshness and quality.
• In-Store Grocery Shopper initiates and completes the selection process for customers' online orders.
• The Online Grocery Pick-Up team assembles online orders, processes coupons and payment, and delivers and loads orders to cars when customers arrive at the store for pick up.
• Scan and bag orders on the go while following bagging standards.
• Communicate substitutions or exceptions to customers' orders at pick-up.
• Meet or exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines.
• Receive customers' orders from Order Selector, store products in optimal temperature zones, and follow directions in note sections.
• Ensure quality and freshness of all items; communicate with customers professionally and in a timely manner.
• Load orders into customers' cars and ensure order accuracy at pick-up.
• Process orders through the point of sale (POS) system and determine appropriate substitutions for out-of-stock items.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment; report discrepancies and defective equipment.
• Assist in training new e-Commerce team members and meet productivity standards.
• Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment and manage conflicts professionally.
• Follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve customer and business issues.
• Provide support and assistance through direct interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults as needed.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

• Ability to work without supervision
• Ability to read shelf tags
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction)
• Excellent oral/written communication skills

Experience:

• Experience as a personal shopper or in a production-oriented or warehouse environment, stocking shelves, or experience as a cashier
