• Select and gather products for customers' online orders in the most efficient manner, with attention to freshness and quality.
• Assemble customers' online orders, process coupons and payment, and deliver and load orders to customers' cars when they arrive at the store for pick up.
• Provide a positive customer service experience that makes customers want to return to online shopping.
• Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.
• Initiate and complete the selection process for online orders as part of the In-Store Grocery Shopper / Online Grocery Pick-Up team.
• Scan and bag orders while following all bagging standards.
• Communicate substitutions or exceptions to customers at pick-up time.
• Meet or exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines.
• Receive orders from Order Selector and store products in optimal temperature zones.
• Read and follow directions in the note section of orders.
• Ensure quality and freshness of all items.
• Communicate with customers professionally via phone and respond to calls in a timely manner.
• Retrieve customer orders from staging locations, verify accuracy, and load orders into customers' cars.
• Process orders through the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Determine appropriate substitutions in the event of out-of-stock items according to policy.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment.
• Report pricing, scanning, and item-location discrepancies to the store e-Commerce supervisor.
• Inspect equipment and notify store management of items in need of repair.
• Perform required opening and closing procedures.
• Assist in training new e-Commerce team members and meet productivity standards.
• Work cooperatively in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
• Manage conflict in a reasonable, non-confrontational and cooperative manner.
• Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve customer and business issues.
• Provide support and assistance through direct interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults as needed.
• Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Minimum Position Qualifications

• Ability to work without supervision
• Ability to read shelf tags
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, and subtraction)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Desired Previous Experience

• Experience as a personal shopper or in a production-oriented or warehouse environment, stocking shelves, or experience as a cashier
