Job Description:

Select and gather products for customers' on-line orders in the most efficient manner with attention to freshness and quality. Assemble customers' on-line orders, process coupons and payment, and deliver and load orders to cars when customers arrive at store for pick up. Provide a positive customer service experience that makes customers want to return to on-line shopping. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

• Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk / In-Store Grocery Shopper selects and gathers products for customers' on-line orders with attention to freshness and quality.
• In-Store Grocery Shopper initiates and completes the selection process for on-line orders.
• Assemble on-line orders, process coupons and payment, and deliver and load orders to cars at pick up.
• Scan and bag orders while following bagging standards.
• Communicate substitutions or exceptions to customers at pick-up and follow policies for substitutions when items are out of stock.
• Meet/exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines.
• Receive customer orders from Order Selector and store products in optimal temperature zones; ensure order accuracy and load into customer cars.
• Provide a positive customer service experience that encourages on-line shopping returns.
• Process orders through the POS system and maintain organization and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment.
• Communicate with customers via portable phone in a professional and timely manner.
• Follow policies to determine appropriate substitutions and report discrepancies or issues to supervision.
• Assist in training new e-Commerce team members and meet productivity standards.
• Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment and manage conflicts professionally.

• Ability to work without supervision
• Ability to read shelf tags
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Experience as a personal shopper or in a production-oriented or warehouse environment, stocking shelves, or as a cashier
