This role involves preparing and serving drinks to customers, authoritatively combining ingredients to craft both classic and innovative beverages that meet customers’ preferences. Additionally, the Bartender supervises all bar operational procedures to ensure the quality of service aligns with the hotel’s high standards and reputation for excellence.

• Promptly take guest orders and follow up accordingly.
• Engage with guests to collect feedback and suggestions for improvement.
• Supervise bar stock levels, build requisitions, and ensure timely supply.
• Present bills to guests, ensure signatures or payments, and record transactions in the system.
• Handle materials and equipment carefully to prevent breakages.
• Efficiently utilise available materials and equipment, conducting regular inventories.
• Follow closing procedures diligently.
• Attend daily briefings within the department.
• Make sure to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) in all processes.
• Regularly clear and clean tables and the bar counter, emptying ashtrays as needed.
• Set up tables and the bar counter, prepare cocktails and drinks with accurate mise en place.
• Display bottles and polished glasses on shelves as guided.
• Maintain cleanliness of furniture, fixtures, and equipment in the bar area.
• Welcome guests warmly, serving snacks and beverages according to SOP.

Customer service.

You will undergo a probationary period of SIX (6) MONTHS as from the date of commencement of employment. After having successfully completed the probationary period you will be confirmed in your post.
