UTS - Temporary Evaluation Associate at UNC Chapel Hill
The Evaluation Associate supports the design, implementation, and dissemination of evaluation and research activities across multiple projects. This role conducts mixed-methods evaluations, synthesizes qualitative and quantitative data, and produces high-quality reports and presentations for varied audiences. The Associate collaborates with project teams to analyze findings and translate results into actionable insights that inform program improvement and strategic decision-making. The position contributes to evaluation strategy and methodological rigor while independently managing project components with strong analytical and communication skills.
This is a remote position.
Work Schedule:
40 hours;
Monday - Friday from 9 am - 5 pm

- Master’s degree in Education, Public Policy, Social Sciences, Research Methods, Statistics, or a related field and at least three (3) years of professional experience in program evaluation, research, or data analysis; OR
- An equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
- Other duties as needed
- Strong written skills developing research and scholarly products, such as presentations, briefs, reports, and manuscripts
- Mixed-methods expertise, with proven abilities to synthesize survey and interview findings
- Content analysis experience, particularly related to publications and policy analyses
- Ability to work independently on tasks
- Three (3) or more years of professional experience conducting mixed-methods evaluation or applied research across multiple projects. Demonstrated experience designing evaluation plans, developing data collection instruments (e.g., surveys, interview protocols), and managing data collection processes.
- Experience synthesizing findings and developing high-quality reports, executive summaries, briefs, and presentations for varied stakeholder audiences.
