Duties & Responsibilities
- Learn high performance computing environment, Linux operating system, and numerical methods and simulation workflows needed for the research work
- Prepare and setup simulation including geometry and mesh generation
- Perform numerical simulations using in-house developed computer code
- Process simulation results, create research report and write research paper for publication
- Able to work independently and remain task-driven
- Knowledge of computer simulation.
- Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science student
- Familiar with Python or C++ programming language
- Relevant course work in Fluid Mechanics, Mathematics, and Computer Science.
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
