The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training and internal pay comparison. The above hiring range represents the University s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and draft research protocols of studies, compile and submit new grant proposals ensuring continued funding, compile, draft and submit IRB and other required documentation to ensure research efforts are compliant.
  • Recruit and consent study participants, schedule research interviews and meetings, conduct semi-structured qualitative interviews, design surveys, administer surveys and consent study patients, manage all correspondence among all concerned parties.
  • Maintain all databases of research, conduct literature and other internet-based searches ensuring research is current and compliant, conduct chart reviews and extract pertinent information, review and edit all reports, posters, manuscripts and presentations ensuring all information conveyed is accurate.
  • Analyze quantitative and qualitative data, use a mixed methods approach to data integration of survey and interview data, and summarize qualitative and quantitative findings for written report and to present to the community.
  • Utilize graphic design and data visualization skills to prepare visual representations of data (e.g., infographics, tables, graphs, and dashboards).
  • Coordinate all site visits and focus groups; coordinate information from such groups for the research group.
  • Position will work 100% offsite at VA Hospital Boston.
