Annual Salary Range: $60,000 - $66,500

The Enterprise Functions Unit supports functions Division‑wide by providing data analytics, statistical reporting, technical support, training, organizational change management, and process review and standardization recommendations. The Unit also supports the Division’s modernization efforts by coordinating Division staff efforts and prioritizing work assignments.
- Use SAS, pg Admin, and Tableau to collect, tabulate, and assemble raw data for research projects and to compile data and visualizations for the Division’s constituents and internal requestors.
- Develop, lead and conduct complex research studies and/or assess the impact of proposed legislation and present findings to Division and Department management and other stakeholders.
- Plan, develop, and present new ideas, concepts and strategies related to systems and techniques.
- Analyze, organize, and present data requested by the Division’s constituents and internal requestors.
- Work with minimal direction in responding to a variety of ad hoc requests via tables, charts, data visualization, written summaries and verbal presentations.
- Assist with the accurate and timely production of ongoing reporting required by the Division and its stakeholders.
- Advise on policy, conduct policy research, serve as technical consultants, and may also advise or review the work of lower‑level staff.
- Provide statistical and analytical support to the Division, including conducting research, compiling and analyzing data and preparing numerous reports.
6 years of relevant experience and/or appropriate certification OR a Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field of study and 2 years of relevant experience and/or appropriate certification. Lack of post‑secondary education will not be used as the sole basis for denying consideration to any applicant.
Desired Attributes- Knowledge of methods and techniques of collection, compilation, and analysis of research data.
- Knowledge of research design and ability to plan and execute research studies and present information in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to effectively communicate a story from data through graphics such as flows, diagrams, and Tableau visualizations.
- Advanced knowledge of research methods and analysis, computer information systems, and statistical software.
- Skilled in SQL and/or SAS and have other relevant database‑related experience. Tableau experience highly preferred.
- Moderate to high degree of technical writing and reporting skills.
- Ability to use substantial independent judgment when applying technical concepts and methodologies.
