Job Description and Position Requirements
Candidates will assist with field studies in the State College area focused on turtles and newts. Duties will include searching for and measuring and marking animals; following animals using radio telemetry; collecting other data and samples in the field; data entry; and equipment upkeep. Candidates must be able to work outside in field conditions including dealing with hot weather, rain, mosquitoes, and ticks.
This job requires that you operate a motor vehicle as part of your job duties. A valid U.S. driver’s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.
