We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Research Engineer to conduct applied research, develop prototypes, and support advanced engineering initiatives in a remote work environment. The successful candidate will contribute to the investigation, design, analysis, and validation of new technologies, products, or systems while collaborating with multidisciplinary research and engineering teams.
This position is strictly limited to candidates who currently reside in the United States and are legally authorized to work in the U.S. Applications from individuals residing outside the United States will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct applied research and experimentation to support new product development and technology advancement
- Design, develop, and test prototypes, models, and simulations
- Analyze research data and prepare technical reports, publications, and presentations
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and academic partners to translate research into practical solutions
- Support grant-funded, government, or internally sponsored research initiatives, where applicable
- Maintain thorough documentation of research methodologies, results, and findings
- Ensure research activities comply with organizational standards, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Sciences, or a related technical discipline
- Minimum of 3–6 years of experience in research engineering, R&D, or applied research roles
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and experimental design skills
- Experience with data analysis, modeling, simulation, or laboratory testing (as applicable)
- Excellent technical writing and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative research environment
- Masters or Ph.D. degree in a relevant engineering or scientific field
- Experience with peer-reviewed publications, patents, or funded research projects
- Familiarity with government or industry research programs
Annual Salary Range: $105,000 — $145,000 USD, commensurate with experience, education, and geographic location
