The Loan Security Valuation Surveyor will be responsible for preparing detailed valuations for a range of residential, commercial, and mixed-use properties, primarily for loan security purposes. Daily tasks will include conducting site inspections, compiling valuation reports, market research, client communication, and collaborating with colleagues to deliver an efficient and high-quality service. This is a full-time role based in our Maidenhead office.
The successful candidate will report to the Head of Loan Security Valuations, Simon Mills, and work alongside six other colleagues as part of an established team. You will be liaising with clients, occupiers and colleagues in a demanding role that requires excellent communication, time-management, and reporting skills.
Skills Criteria Compulsory skill set- Min 2 years post qualification valuation experience as either MRICS or FRICS
- RICS Registered Valuer
- Knowledge of RICS standards, regulatory compliance, and market trends analysis
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in drafting professional valuation reports
- Excellent organisational skills: ability to manage time effectively, work under deadlines, and handle multiple assignments simultaneously
- Process oriented with high attention to detail
- Able to build excellent working relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels
- Willingness to roll sleeves up and carry out all tasks
- Full UK driving licence
Excellent working knowledge of Excel - Working knowledge of Word
- Experience of Microsoft Dynamics CRM software
- Experience of Edozo Valuation Platform
