Salary
: $65,000 Annually
Location
: 80% In-Office (Old Town), 20% Travel to Properties
Hours
: M-F, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
We are looking for a motivated and versatile Commercial Real Estate Associate to support the day-to-day operations of our diverse property portfolio in San Diego. This full-time, in-office role offers a unique blend of responsibilities across property management, marketing, leasing, and administrative support. The ideal candidate will bring strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and a passion for delivering excellent service to tenants and property owners.

- Address and resolve tenant issues related to rent payments, service requests, etc.
- Conduct weekly property inspections, including buildings, grounds, interiors, and other facilities.
- Draft property-wide email communications to tenants.
- Coordinate with vendors for property maintenance, repairs, and improvements.
- Assist with annual Tenant Operating Expense Reconciliations (CAMs) using MS Excel.
- Available for emergency after-hours calls 24/7 when Property Manager is out of office such as on vacation.
- Draft emails to property owners for review by the Property Manager & Director.
- Photograph and Matterport vacant properties.
- Update marketing channels such as the company website, Loopnet, , CREXI, and Craigslist weekly.
- Create and schedule email marketing campaigns for vacancies.
- Create marketing brochures for listings using Canva software.
- Show vacant residential and select commercial properties to prospective tenants when needed.
- Process rental applications and lease assignments.
- Assist in drafting lease renewal offer letters to tenants.
- Direct incoming company phone calls to the appropriate team member (approximately 5-10 calls per day).
- Greet office walk‑ins in order to assist tenants, vendors, etc.
- Assist with ordering office supplies, organizing electronic files, labeling keys, etc.
- 2+ years of experience in property management.
- College degree in Real Estate, Business, Accounting, Finance, Law, or a related field preferred.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work with tenants.
- Ability to multitask, be flexible, and handle multiple roles simultaneously.
- Excellent listening and empathy skills to establish and maintain rapport with tenants.

: $65,000 Annually - Job Type
:
Full-time, 40 hours per week in office or performing property visits (not a work-from-home position). - Hours
: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM PST, Monday – Friday. - Work Environment
