This person is to support PLET, mudmat and pile fabrication at a supplier in Tarragona, Spain.
12 months contract, start date in March
Rotation: 6 days per week for 6 weeks, followed by at least 1 week break (off work), and 2 other weeks being either off work or working from home depending on the level of activity.
Work pattern could change to 7 days per week.
The client is looking for significant subsea structure fabrication background and excellent communication skills (reporting, supplier management, client relationships).

OVERVIEW OF
THE ROLE
The Fabrication Quality Advisor provides guidance and advice in regard to the effective management of Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC), delivering quality management and improvement support to all projects and Functions within the designated area of responsibility.
He/she provides support to the relevant Quality Manager and his/her team in the maintenance and control of processes, procedures, work methods and initiatives in support of the Company's overall Quality strategies.
This role requires rotations to work at sub-contractor fabrication yard.
Key Responsibilities & Activities
- Act as the primary contact for all QA/QC matters, supporting project management with resources and quality input.
- Ensure implementation and compliance with quality programmes, policies and procedures across assigned packages/projects.
- Review quality documentation, conduct quality risk assessments, manage inspections, track QC budgets and forecast resource needs.
- Lead and support internal and external audits, ensuring a risk‑based approach.
- Oversee day‑to‑day activities of quality inspectors at subcontracted fabrication yards, monitoring progress and identifying risks.
- Manage non‑conformities, oversee investigations, confirm corrective actions, and maintain records in the Synergi system.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Engineering and Fabrication teams to assess and develop supplier quality performance.
- Drive continuous improvement by integrating Lessons Learned and supporting development of the Business Management System.
- Promote a strong quality and safety culture across all project activities.
KEY QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Proven experience on large fabrication scopes for international, fast-paced projects.
Previous experience in supervision of quality resources to ensure inspection and testing activities are performed in accordance with all applicable requirements.
Previous experience inspection of welding / NDT / Coating is required.
Qualified ISO 9001:2015 auditor training is a plus.
Good level of general education required, preferably supported by a diploma/degree in Engineering or Quality Management.
Available to work on rotations from 50% to 70 % of the time
