As a BSI Auditor, no two days are the same as you'll meet with a wide range of clients, from small independent businesses to large global super brands. In this role, you will act as a trusted partner to our clients, taking them through the audit process to achieve their ISO certifications.
This role is home-based and travel is required so you need to be comfortable with regular travel and hold a full UK driving licence. Travel is balanced with a proportion of remote audits. These can be carried out as a team, however you will be working with clients as the BSI representative alone for a high proportion of the time. It's a busy, but extremely rewarding role as you'll foster excellence and safety across all organisations.
About the role:As a Building & Construction Auditor, you would be joining the EMEA Built Environment Sector Team of other subject matter experts. You will conduct management system audits on a variety of clients in the sector from Tier 1 contractors to smaller specialist contracts. You will also conduct audits in the construction materials sector for management systems.
Key responsibilities:- Assess client systems and processes against ISO standards
- Prepare accurate, detailed assessment reports and clearly communicate findings and recommended corrective actions.
- Provide meaningful client feedback, demonstrating strong commercial and operational understanding.
- Maintain a consistent, professional, and engaging approach throughout all assessments.
You will have several years' experience in the built environment sector and a good working knowledge of quality, environment and health & safety management systems and auditing. In addition, you will have:
- Lead Auditor qualifications ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
- Knowledge of BS 99001 Quality in the Built Environment
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Fluent in English with additional languages preferred
