Construction Quality Control Manager

Department: Construction Management

Employment Type: Full Time

Location: Albuquerque, NM

Compensation: $45.00 - $65.00 / hour

Description

As a Construction Quality Control Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring that all construction activities meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance while supporting the successful delivery of projects.

Core

Responsibilities
  • Implement project Quality Control plans and procedures
  • Ensure construction work complies with drawings, specifications, contracts, and applicable codes
  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and quality reviews
  • Coordinate inspections and testing of materials and workmanship
  • Identify, document, and manage non-conformances and corrective actions
  • Maintain and transmit accurate quality records, reports, and documentation
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and inspectors
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and promote a culture of quality
  • Work on site on per diem projects in California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas
Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies
  • 10 years of testing, inspection, and quality management experience with increasing responsibility.
  • Proven experience in construction quality control or quality management
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and quality standards
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities
  • Proficient in quality reporting and documentation systems
  • Must be willing to travel to remote job sites
