The Senior QA Manager ensures that quality assurance functions operate efficiently, deliver measurable business value, and continuously improve through structured analysis and data‑driven decision‑making. This role focuses on aligning QA with business priorities, maintaining operational excellence, and driving continuous optimization of quality practices.
Responsibilities- Business Alignment:
Ensure QA objectives, priorities, and results are fully aligned with business goals and delivery expectations. Build effective collaboration with key stakeholders to maintain a direct link between quality outcomes and business success. - Organizational Excellence:
Design and maintain scalable QA processes, workflows, and methodologies that ensure consistency, predictability, and efficiency across multiple projects. Oversee coordination of QA activities to ensure standards are met across teams. - Analytical and Problem‑Solving Focus:
Leverage advanced analytical skills to assess the efficiency and maturity of QA processes. Identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities using measurable quality indicators and operational data. - Continuous Improvement:
Establish, track, and refine quality metrics to ensure sustained process evolution and higher testing efficiency. Lead focused initiatives to improve test coverage, defect prevention, and overall product quality impact. - Ownership and Accountability:
Take full responsibility for QA performance within assigned domains. Ensure deliverables meet business and technical expectations while maintaining compliance with internal standards and quality agreements. - Operational Control:
Supervise QA execution across the full testing lifecycle, including planning, prioritization, and quality reporting. Ensure transparency, timely feedback, and adherence to QA commitments.
- 8+ years of professional experience in Quality Assurance, including leadership roles such as Head of QA or QA Director.
- Proven experience managing multiple QA teams and large‑scale testing initiatives.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Expertise in defining, measuring, and improving QA metrics and processes.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycles, client‑server architecture, and testing methodologies.
- Experience with QA and test management systems (Test Rail, Testmo, etc.).
- Familiarity with SQL, scripting, and modern QA automation concepts.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- English level:
Advanced or Upper‑Intermediate+.
